1. | Extract 1 cup milk from coconut using 1 cup water. |
2. | Grind ginger and garlic into a paste. |
3. | Heat oil in cooker for about 5 minutes. Add onions and fry till golden brown. Add ground paste, turmeric, chilli and garam masala powders. Stir for a few seconds. Add prawns. Stir fry for about 1 minute. Add coconut milk, salt and sugar. Stir till sugar is dissolved. |
4. | Close cooker. Bring to full pressure on high heat. Reduce heat and cook for 3 minutes. |
5. | Remove cooker from heat. Lift vent weight slightly to release pressure. |
6. | Open cooker. Serve hot. |
