Aloo Gobi Ki Tehari

Ingredients
7 tbsp vegetable oil
2 bay leaves
2 sticks(2 ½ cm each) cinnamon
8 cloves
2 large ( 300 g) potatoes (peeled and cut into quarters)
½ kg cauliflower (cut into chunky flowerettes)
3 cups Basmati rice
1 tsp dry ginger powder
¼ tsp asafoetida
2 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
5 tsp salt
4 cups water
1 tsp garam masala powder

Recipe
1. Heat oil in cooker for about 3 minutes. Add bay leaves, cinnamon and cloves. Stir for a few seconds. Add potatoes and cauliflower. Stir fry for about 2 minutes. Add all other ingredients except water and garam masala powder. Stir fry for about 3 minutes. Add water. Stir.
2. Close cooker. Bring to full pressure on high heat. Reduce heat and cook for 3 minutes.
3. Remove cooker from heat. Allow to cool naturally for 5 minutes. Lift vent weight lightly to release pressure.
4. Open cooker. Place tehari on serving dish. Sprinkle garam masala powder. Serve hot.
